How We Document Your Love Story:
Moments - big and small - mean everything to us. Wedding photography is so much more than the pressing of a button or following a shot list. We want to capture you and your loved ones in a unique and authentic way. Being able to capture real moments of love and joy artistically and honestly is what fuels our love for this career. You + your love - exactly as you are. Being a witness to one of the happiest days of our client’s lives is an honour and privilege. More often than not, our clients become life long friends and cherished relationships. And for that, we consider ourselves incredibly lucky.
Our images are rich with colour, and edited in a polished, yet timeless way so you will love them just as much 20 years from now.
Our photography style is a mix of photo journalism + editorial. For the majority of the day we simply want to witness the day unfolding in front of us: getting ready, ceremony, cocktail hour + reception. That being said, we understand how intimidating it can be to be infront of the camera + the importance of organized family and bridal party photos, even with all the candid photos from throughout the day. This means, for those shots, we will give you the direction needed to collect and place everyone where they need to be. Our booking process and engagement session help our team to connect with our clients before the day of the wedding. Our hope is that it feels as though a friend is showing up to document you + your loved ones.
Engagement Sessions
All of our wedding collections include an engagement session at a discounted price.
Yes, it is so important to have images and memories of this milestone in your life - but engagement sessions are so much more than just that. Being in front of the camera can be intimidating - and the engagement session is a great way to see that it is actually a fun and enjoyable experience. It helps us to connect with you and build a relationship and companionship. This helps to create a safe + comfortable space for you to be yourself on your wedding day. The initial nerves of being photographed are gone by the end of the session, and you feel confident to put your trust in us to capture one of the most important days of your life.

FAQ - Collections
Is is better to have 8 or 10 hours for a full day of wedding coverage?
Each wedding day is different. Keeping that in mind - our 8 hour package is a standard amount of time to cover a wedding day from getting ready until first dance. One thing to keep in mind is if you are having a First Look or not. A First Look will add additional time before the ceremony to your wedding timeline, and as such we recommend having 10 hours of coverage. As well, if we will be travelling from one venue to another during the wedding day you may want to add an additional hour or two. Any travel time between locations is included in the coverage time.
Do all collections include two photographers?
Yes, all our collections include two photographers for the wedding day ( not engagement session ). The main photographer is always Tracy, and the second is one from our roster of talented second shooters.
What is a Guestbook?
A guestbook is an 8” x 8” fine art album on Giclee matte paper. You choose your favourite images from your engagement sessions with Grace & Gold Studios, and then we design the album with your choices. There is white space left around it for your guests to sign. It is a beautiful way to make something tangible out of your engagement session that will also be filled with love notes from your wedding guests.
Do we get to choose the images for the Wedding Album?
Yes - we will request a list of 50 images easily selected from your online gallery. From there we will create an album - occasionally adding images for artistic appeal and layouts - and then send you proofs. We work through your album until you are completely happy with the layout and then it is shipped directly to you.
What is the difference between purchasing a collection that includes an album vs an album a la carte?
When you purchase a collection that includes a guestbook or wedding album at the time of booking you end up saving $100 off the a la carte price. You are welcome to order an album after the fact as well at the full price listed above.
