Hey There! My name is Tracy and I am the Owner, Main Photographer + Editor of Grace & Gold Studios. I am also the big smile you’ll see behind the camera laughing and celebrating with you on your wedding day.

Growing up in a small town, my whole life revolved around exploring the outdoors and loving my family, friends and community. Evenings were spent sitting out under the stars and making memories with the same sweet people I knew from day one. I was blessed with a family that encouraged me to follow my dreams and passions to create a future I was truly excited about. My love of art came from my Mom, and my drive for owning my own business came from my Dad. This led me to photography. My extroverted and people-loving self, obsessed with love of all kinds, led me to wedding photography. Being able to capture emotions and once in a lifetime moments all while chasing beautiful light and creating one of a kind art sounded like a dream. So I left my little town of Brighton and moved to Ottawa to pursue more education in photographic arts as a solid foundation to make my dream a reality. Two years of college and nine years of wedding photography later: Here I am. Living the dream, with a career that truly fills my soul and allows me to see more beauty in the world every day.

What an honour it is to be a witness to such joyful + meaningful celebrations of the community around me. Wedding photography is so much more than a simple “click of a button” or checking off a box on your wedding vendor list. It’s the responsibility of immortalizing these feelings and moments for my clients to be able to relive over and over again. It’s feeling with your clients through your camera and authentically documenting one of the biggest days of their lives. It can be challenging, but it is always worth it.

Hands down, the best part of my job is the relationships that I get to form with my clients. This career has connected me with people I would have otherwise never have crossed paths with and I couldn’t be more thankful.

Grace & Gold is an extension of myself. Everything behind it is deeply rooted in my own personal relationships and experiences. Dave has been a part of G&G since day one and is a familiar face to anyone who has worked with us in the past. It is one of three of his jobs in the photography industry - so it’s safe to say that photography is his calling. His artistic eye and technical skills are second to none and he is a huge part of the success of G&G. He is a kind and calm presence who would do anything for anyone. He also makes the best coffee & cocktails in town.

DEANNA

SECOND SHOOTER

Deanna joined the G&G team in 2020 as a second shooter. She is one of the loveliest souls you will ever meet, and a truly talented artist. She has an eye for detail and a joyful presence on a wedding day. She was born + raised in Ottawa, but her heart has always been pulled towards the forest and rural living. When she is not working, you can find her at her cottage, living off-grid and tending to her gardens.
