Alexandra & Peter - Intimate Winter Wedding
Yesterday was one of those magical days that reminded me why I love my job so very much. This was our first time shooting a wedding for clients that we had never met (or even spoken to) before. Alex and Pete live in beautiful B.C., and to our luck, were coming back to hometown Ottawa for an intimate wedding with close family and friends. All the meetings that took place were with their family members planning the entire wedding from here in Ottawa. we had no idea what to expect when we arrived to meet the couple, and eagerly waited after a last minute decision to change the portrait location to the Ottawa Museum of Nature, because of the bitter cold. Who knew they would be two of the loveliest, gorgeous and most fun people we've had the pleasure of working with.
Alexandra and Peter certainly brought the west coast warmth to our cold city. They were laughing, smiling, and so genuinely happy throughout the entire day. And, to add even more love to the day, Alexandra's dress perfectly showed her still little, but growing baby bump. She was glowing all day. Their intimate 30 - guest ceremony and reception at The Orange Art Gallery was filled with bright art work and simple, yet graceful details.
Alex, Pete, and family; thank you so much for letting us be a part of your day. We wish you nothing but happiness, love and fun for you and your growing family. Mazel Tov! xo
